Digital Culture and Mental Health Trends

Explore the impact of digital culture on human development. Discuss how digital media may contribute to what drives people in the information age to seek mental and behavioral health help. Digital media includes TV, internet, social media, texting, and video games. Predict future American behavioral health needs and be ready to serve the evolving void paradoxically created by increasing connectivity. This is a workshop for mental health workers brave enough to embrace change, to maintain flexibility, growth, and adaptation to the variables that threaten behavioral patterns which maintain health and aspects of humanity we value.
